Overall

We loved our stay there three years ago. My nephew was getting married and we needed a place that was pet friendly . In the end we didn't bring our dogs, but the cabin was oh so lovely and the people that owned it was just so caring. We tried to stay there again this year , for another family wedding. But they are booked up for that weekend. SO they gave us other cabins to stay at. WE are staying that the High Bridge Cabins. I'll let you know how they are/

The propriators go out of their way to make your camping experience a pleasant experience.

Every time we camped at Twin Oaks we felt right at home.Steve and Jackie are extra special people who go out of their way to accommodate you.Their facilities are always clean.Their store is well stocked. They are pet owners and even provide a fenced area for your pet to run off lead. This camp ground is located close to great fishing spots and they even put in a fish cleaning station. It is one of our favorite places to go,Doug and Maureen Madajczyk

Notably good service experience

My family and I stayed in one of the cabins at Twin Oaks Campground. The cabin was nice and clean. It had all the necessary amenities (bathroom/shower, kitchen area, bedroom area). The kitchen area (sink, stove, refrigerator) which helped us prepare meals without having to go out and find a restaurant. The grounds of the campground were nice and clean and well maintained. Camp store provided anything you might need. My children (ages 6 & 8) enjoyed the playground and playing the video games in the rec room. A lot of fun attractions nearby. We enjoyed renting a pontoon boat for the day on the lake nearby. Hiking was also fun.We would recommend the campground and cabins to anyone.

Notably good service experience

We had a great experience at Twin Oaks Campground. We tent camped for 2 nights. The site was excellent. Nice and spacious. Beautiful too....under the big pine trees. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the camp store was stocked with anything you would need...and more! Bath house was very clean and the rec room provided some activities for the kids (and adults too!) There are a lot of sites to visit near the campground. We loved visiting Manistee and Lake Michigan...just a short trip to the west. We also loved the hiking and canoeing near the camp. You can't go wrong selecting this campground. ENJOY!

The best decision I ever made!

I've been going to Twin Oaks Campground & Cabins for 4 1/2 years! It's such a nice place for fishing, camping, snowmobiling and just having fun! It's very close to the Pine River which is the fastest river in Michigan so if you love to canoe, kayak or raft you're right there. Very family oriented and also pet friendly!
