Dental Care
Following American Veterinary Medical Association guidelines, Cascade Park Animal Hospital only does cleanings and dental work on anesthetized pets. To ensure your pet is healthy enough to undergo anesthesia, we do require a routine blood test before the procedure.
Vaccination
My dog Arthas had his first visit with Dr Haddock yesterday (my first visit here; I needed a new vet since Dr Phelps no longer works at east VCA), and it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and Arthas and I felt welcome. Dr Haddock was very knowledgeable, and really took the time to get to know Arthas and do a very thorough exam. I never felt rushed at all during his visit, even though our appointment was at the end of the day. The cost of the exam and his vaccinations was very reasonable, and there was no pressure for anything additional on his first visit. He was seen quickly, and the clinic was very clean and welcoming. I'm looking forward to Arthas' future visits here.

Cascade Park Animal Hospital is par excellence!! The veterinarians are wonderful, as well as the technicians and staff. They truly express concern for their patients and owners. Our two cats and two dogs have received exemplary care. What is very impressive is that our veterinarian there will seek out the best specialists, if warranted, for a particular condition, such as cancer, serious eye problems and such for any of our animals. An ultrasound works by broadcasting high-frequency sound waves that reflect off your pet’s internal structures. A small probe held against the skin collects the returning signals to create an image of the internal body, most commonly used to examine abdominal organs like the stomach, kidneys, liver, spleen and gallbladder. An ultrasound of the heart, known as an echocardiogram, provides precise information about heart valves, blood flow, chamber size and contractions.
