The grill is amazing restaurant

The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club recently opened in May 2009. Its a cool club located at Universal CityWalk

I went to this place a couple of Cinco De Mayos ago (May 5th) to treat a latin girlfiriend of mune out to a nice evening. However, it turned out to be anything but nice.



We went bowling first and despite the open lanes, it took us almost an hour to get a lane. I literrally saw people who had arrived after us get a lane before us. After askng what the deal was several times we finally got a lane. I usually like to bowl a couple of rounds as well, but our scored were wiped and we be all but was kicked off the lane the minute our set was done.



We left and went into the City walk to find something else to do. I didn't realize it at first, but the arcade downstairs was also part of Jillian's. My girl was thirsty so we went to the bar. The Bartendar walked by me no less than six times without acknowledging me. I then told my giel to move up to the bar further down from me, and he came over to her right away. She, along with 99% of the other patrons that night is Latin. I on he other hand happened to be one of two other African-American persons in the Arcade/Bar that night.



I expressed my feelings about the rude treatment to the management, and before I knew it I was kicked out...by the manager who also happened to be Hispanic.



After spending nearly $50 bucks on Food and Games I finally figured out that my money was no good at this particular place. I called the home office the follwing day and was promised a call back from someone in upper management. however, that call never came.



It's been two years since I was there and I am looking to open my own Bowling and Family Entertainment Center with my Dad who is a professional Bowler.



This place sucks, and as others have written before me, the staff is rude..rude...rude... and I would dare to say are Bigots as well.

ITS A NICE PLACE TO BE IN. AND I LOVE THE MUSIC.
