The Tyler Independent School District serves more than 18,000 students through over 35 elementary, middle and high schools, as well as alternative learning and special education centers. Its schools provide general academic, advanced placement, and career and technology education programs. Located in Tyler, Texas, the district s schools academic curricula include language arts, math, science and social studies. Its schools conduct foreign language classes in French, German and Spanish. The district s schools also offer programs in fine arts, music and physical education.
