I had an appointment today 8/6/2012---I waited 2 weeks for an appointment. The appointment was for 12:15pm and I arrived a few minutes early. I sat there for 45 minutes and the only that had happened was the copying of my insurance card. I walked up to the receptionist desk. I politely told the young lady that I had been waiting over 45 minutes, and that I had another appointment at work at 155pm, she states "oh, well, there is still one ahead of you" REALLY! I will have Dr. Smith to know that it is hard for me to leave work, and then to not be able to be seen!!!! So, then the receptionist tells me, well, do you want to reschedule. UNBELIEVABLE! This doctor apparently has no respect for her patients' time. DON'T book an appointment if you can't keep it! Further, Dr. Smith wants to CHARGE you if you miss an appointment (which I have never not showed up for an apt), but she can't even get close to seeing her patients on time. I declined to reschedule, called HUMANA and advised of my experience and requested another primary care physician. MY time is just as valuable has hers! and then for her receptionist to not even apologize, nothing. I will never set foot back in her dirty, outdated, ancient office again. This is the poorest customer service I have received anywhere in a long time. I am not normally one to fill out a survey, complain, etc. but this experience deserved a reply.
