Great hole in the wall Italian joint. My parents arrived to visit late one night and were exhausted from their trip. We decided to save dinner downtown for another night and settled on close by Serafino's. We were seated promptly (Friday night), our server was fantastic and our drinks came out immediately. The garlic bread knots are a bit nontraditional (they're essentially fried dough brushed with garlic butter- think a garlic donut), but were tasty. All 4 of us loved our entrees.

I heard about this place and went in to check it out while visiting a friend is GA . I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and warmth, with the classic Italian designs. The place is a hole in the wall but that is what makes it authentic and good. .The food is awesome and the taste is great.. I had the lobster bisque soup, the tomato and mozzarella salad, and the crab/lobster stuffed fish with veggies and the day before the Portobello chicken with pasta and a salad....the garlic bread is delicious and addictive. It is priced accordingly for an UPSCALE Italian restaurant- if you want "quality, authentic food" then you have to pay for it-food is not cheap nor is running a business mind you...either you want "quality' or you want cheap ...I prefer to pay more for quality ...I believe those who posted negative reviews are the ones who expected quality food at fast food prices...which is unrealistic.... I don't think it is kid friendly (too small) -it is more for romantic/private adult atmosphere.. I would order to go and take home anytime. I highly recommend SERAFINO and tell all to try this place...great food, great service, great atmosphere and worth the price.. and try the desserts...

My daughter and I couldn't decide on dinner and she had suggested trying Serafino as we had just noticed it a few nights earlier. When we went in I immediately noticed how small this place is (not that that is a bad thing, cozy is sometimes nice). There's a couple of outside tables and about a dozen inside tables.
We had to wait a disproportionately long time (in my opinion) to be seated as there were 3 empty tables. Our server was fairly prompt and pleasant, but after she took out drink order the (apparent) owner started ranting as to why she sat us there. This place is so small they probably could have heard him in Publix. Shortly after our drinks came we were made to move.
During the course of the meal the (apparent) owner went from table to table chatting up the customers, but did not give us so much as a smile. I seriously felt like we had crashed a family reunion.
The food was very good, and is priced accordingly for an UPSCALE Italian restaurant. It's the only reason why I gave them 3 stars. Would I return? Only if I was going to order to go, and that is unlikely.

My friend and I met at a so called common Italian restaurant which was very crowded. We left in search of any restaurant where we didn't have to wait on a table. We pulled across the street to discuss our options and discovered Serafino Italian restaurant. At the time it was located on Mt. Zion. It was a small, quaint place that I had drove by, without notice, for years. When we entered that evening we had one of the most memorable times of our lives. The music, aromas and perfect lighting set a atmosphere for fine quality dining at it's best. The service was first class as well as the many menu choices. We were a little disappointed when they relocated to Stockbridge, not because of the location, but the decor at the old location made so much difference in our previous visits. We still highly recommend this restaurant to couples and adults who enjoy the "Rat Pack" era music while savoring a delicious meal. It is a truly worthy Italian experience.

This is a very enjoyable dining experience. Pleasant staff, quick service, great food, substantial menu, clean store, outside tables avail, dining in and take-out. Moderately priced. I understand that catering is also available.
