Pasadena Villa - Smoky Mountain Lodge

I would NEVER recommend Pasadena Villa Smoky Mountain Lodge. I sent my son there and the care was terrible. The so called "Doctors" were a joke. They didn't care one bit about my son/there patients. My son was there for 6 weeks and can home worst then when he left. They are very unprofessional. All they care about is getting there money. I had 2 staffers use profanity with me (they thought they hung up the phone from me and started talking about me and my son. . . While using profanity). They will promise you the world but never deliver. They have caused more trauma to my son and has set him back (in the progress he had already made). They were going to try and bill our insurance to save us some money and they made a claim but with the "wrong code" now we are STILL working with the insurance company to get it straightened out. It was an absolutely terrible experience!! Please reconsider sending your child/loved one there. Please Beware.

Please do not send a loved one here. I trusted this facility with my loved ones life and unfortunately she took her life at this facility while under watch of the staff. It is a dangerous place. It hurts me to even write this to this day, but I would not be able to live with myself If another family had to go through what mine what through.

DO NOT GO HERE. I was a former patient here as of yesterday when the manager kicked me out without any warning as I was supposed to find a step down with my therapist. Now my family is scrambling thanks to this place. Though I'm some what relieved as it was horrible, you'd be hard pressed to find one resident who enjoys their stay or believes they're getting help. Also if you're not a smoker, get ready to be one because most people were before their stay or shortly after. You will not find help here, try any other place, just not here.

I believe anyone who has a problem should come to Pasadena villa for treatment. the staff is wonderful and very helpful and the culinary staff is excellent at what they do for their living and care about the residents.

I have referred several potential clients to Pasadena Villa Smoky Mtn Lodge. As a mental health professional, I am very happy to give accolades to this organization.
