Provided by SuperpagesThis institution has been standing and drawing gourmands for over 15 years that I know. I understand that while its Sunnyvale and Santa Clara branches failed after about 2 years each, its Gilroy branch is doing well. Reasons: You can adJust your Breakfast with substitutions (the rules are on the menu), and custom breakfasts are available; waitresses are competent, and willing to please. If you turn out often, they will remember your preferences. The regular menu features and sides are numerous. The simple breakfasts are reasonably priced; the omelets and specialties are pricey, but worth it. (I love the spinach omelet.) In 2006, sandwiches were added and the 2pm closing was moved back to 3pm. It's busy most days and crammed on weekends because people do become regulars. A line sometimes runs out the door. Opens about 6am. Come very early or late for choice of seating. Booth-benches and tables available. Large parties OK because the tables move, but carpool if you can.
