Nevis Networks has raised a total of approximately $40 million in three rounds of funding from premier venture capital firms that include New Enterprise Associates, BlueRun Ventures and New Path Ventures. The company was founded by an ASIC engineer from Juniper Networks and a software engineering manager from Cisco Systems. The company maintains operations in Mountain View, Calif.
