Overall
This is the defacto Japanese supermarket in SF.

located in central Japantown, Nijiya offers everything Japanese, from fresh food in a fridge case to the atypical supermarket goods. They have a great seafood section, tons of sake, all manner of ramen/udon/soba and other noodles, multiple mega snack aisles, a frozen section, more rice selection than you will ever need, and more. Plan to spend a good amount of time pouring over each aisle. I love this place. And they have sales, just like a normal market.
