Tong's Thai Restaurant

A wonderful spot for Thai food! We shared the Ban Xeo (Thai Crepe) to begin our evening, and it was excellent! Stir fried shrimp, chicken, bean sprouts, garlic sauce, folded into a crepe. Although listed in the appetizer section of the menu, I could easily make this my entree. Soooo good!

I had the Pad Thai for my main course and it did not disappoint. Some of the best Pad Thai I've tasted! My man friend ordered the Combination Lo Mein, and he said it was excellent, as well. He liked it better than my Pad Thai. I didn't get the chance to taste his, since he finished every morsel on his plate! The portions are generous, too. I finished my meal with a Boba Milk Tea, one of my favorites.

The atmosphere of Tong's Thai Restaurant is cozy, yet airy, perfect for adults, families, or large groups. The decor is fun, Oriental chic. The service was excellent, provided by our waitress "Kay" (not sure of the spelling of her name)! We will be back! There are so many things to try, and I especially want to have some of their Sushi.

Love this place! Best thai food in San Antonio in my opinion! Love the bubble tea drinks too. You can sit outside on nice days, amongst exotic plants and a small fish pond. I guess you could say it's eclectic, interesting...try it out!

Have experience with several thai plates such as the red and green curry plates, the pad thai and a couple others. All plates were excellent. The cheese rolls are great as well as the bubble drinks. My husband likes their thai iced tea. service might not be great but the food makes up for it. I like to atmosphere is nice too dim lights and an aquarium. I am comparing their food to the thai food my husband and I have eaten in Germany.

I went there one night and i order Tong thai bowl thinking it gonna be good. Turn out they have trash in my food, sugar wraps and charcoal in my food. It was disgusting and unsanitary plus the hostess was rude. That my tong thai bowl experience everybody. I WOULD NOT recommended this place to anyone, unless you want trash in your food. NASTY
