Little Italy Restaurant

Below average. I came here for lunch with a group of 6. The service was slow.

We were seated in an area that was previously reserved so we had to move after taking our orders. The server didn't remember who ordered what and some of the orders were wrong.

Everybody in the group said the food tasted fine. The lunch prices are reasonable.

I probably will not go back.

Eh, its just ok. I had lunch here today with 5 other coworkers. The food was good but nothing amazing. And the service was terrible. It took a while for our server to greet the table...the place was not busy at the time. We ordered our meals with our drinks on his initial visit since we had plenty of time to look at the menu while waiting. The food took a long time to come out and the server couldn't remember what anyone had and "auctioned" out our food. And some of the orders were incorrect. It was difficult to get water refills. Then when paying it was an extended wait for the payments to be completed. All in all, I likely won't return even though the food wasn't bad.

I went in 03-09-13 to take my parents to dinner. The snotty hostess and old man that worked there were rude and made me and my family feel unwelcome. After we arrived, she told me that the wait time for a party of 3 would be 45 minutes, three minutes later a WHITE family of FOUR came in and she told them 'it will be a 30 minute wait'. i tried to overlook this. as i kept waiting, larger parties kept coming in(white people) and they would be seated first despite the fact that my family and i had arrived before them. the old man(i guess manager or owner) was handing out water to people(again white people) waiting but didn't offer any to my family. the snotty hostess would give me a dirty look every now and then & snap 'can i help you?'. Finally i said 'f--k this,i am not letting these racists take my money,i can tell we are not welcome' and we left. it's a shame.

this isn't 'slander' by any means, this was an awful and unfortunate experience. if people are allowed to post postive reviews on this page,then people should be allowed to post the negative as well. your lack of concern really cannot 'fix this problem' at this point.

Worst restaurant experience in my entire life. We were seated immediately, and ignored for 20 minutes while the 3 other tables in the entire place were waited on. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Over priced, terrible service, run down location, and overall unclean place. We left after being ignored and nobody said a word. It was as if we were invisible. This place came highly recommended by friends here in the city, but, we were disappopinted and encourage others not to waste your time or money in such a poorly run establishment. I'm sure the owner will get on and call me names, but, as the owner, I'd want someone to advise on the terrible service. This is the first and only time I've ever rated any restaurant, and I hope someone will read this and correct the problems, since Little Italy is supposed to be the best Italian food in San Antonio.

Love, love, love Little Italy! Great, affordably priced restuarant with extremely attentive waitstaff and superb food to boot. What's not to love?

This is a quaint little restaurant, but they must improve their food. The only item on the menu that I have tried and liked is the Pizza. I don't go to Italian restaurants for pizza.

Veal Marsala, pizza, fetuccini alfredo - it is ALL great!
