Lost and Found Vintage

The store is very nice and everything is displayed beautifully but I would never buy, or sell, to them again. I dealt with "Yvonne" (on the business card it says she is the Store Manager and POC for buying merchandise). I get the impression she is also the owner. When I arrived, after calling ahead, I no sooner set down the things I brought and she said (lifting her arms in the air), "I need some breathing space and light and will look these over." I was highly insulted with her arrogance and condescending attitude. I wasn't standing on top of her and was about to try and unpack everything. I immediately stepped back a couple of feet (as she didn't offer any ideas on where to sit or stand) and she started to things out of a box. Not knowing how I had everything nicely wrapped in clean linens, the small items starting dropping to the floor. She never had a smile, I never got a professional greeting or farewell, no apology for the things that fell to the floor, and I just felt very insulted. Although she purchased several items I wished I had just said no and left with everything I took. You can have the best store in the world, but attitude and customer service goes a long way. On a more positive note, the clerk behind the counter was very cordial: smiled, friendly, helped me with the door, etc. The experience was such that it bothered me all night...enough to write his review the morning after.

I died and went to heaven!!! This place is a vintage lovers dream come true. Fair prices, fair condition and knowledgable staff. Royal Oak is lucky to have such a boutique!

Leave to the younger set. Store reminds me of places we used to "discover" in the late 1960's & early 1970's when we were looking for vintage stuff. But for a middle-aged person like myself I found the items kind of shabby, worn, etc., and I thought, kind of over-priced. It is a great place to find what they are calling Steampunk (I think) and I would have loved it 40 years ago. Authentic vintage clothing and accessories galore!

This store has a huge, great selection of vintage clothes and accessories. It's organized and everything is very reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Located in Downtown Royal Oak on Washington street - check it out!
