Tides Fish Market

I ordered 5 lbs of Cod fish for a Dinner party. The fish was so
remarkably fresh and delicious! It was surprising how reasonable the price was also!
The very negative review from Jennifer C prompted me to write this.

been shopping here for 20+ yrs and they have always had the very best and most fresh seafood around... I wouldn't shop anywhere else for seafood~!

WEIGH YOUR LOBSTERS! First time and I won't be back. I went to Tide's for medium lobsters, which they state on their as 1.25-1.35 pounds, for $6.95 per lb. I paid $88ish and drove 3 miles. The lobster were small; I weighed them on my kitchen scale. Each weighed 1.01-1.02. This would classify them as chickens. I called Tide's back. The man was very defensive in tone with me when I told him I was overcharged and given the wrong size. He asked me for the weight on the bag. I told him the weight on the bag was 12.77 and what each of the lobsters weighed. He said 12.77 wouldn't include the dry bag but would include the lobster and the water they leak out. I weighed the bags with the water and the weight of the wet bag and water was only 0.075 pounds. No way each lobster lost a coincidental 0.25 pounds. I said I wanted the difference of $25 dollars back for getting chicken lobster. He continued to argue with me. I let him know that this was my first and last visit and he hung up on me.
