Brewer's Bar and Grill

I took the family there for dinner since it was next door to our Hotel. The experience was less than excellent. I had the seafood sandwich that I would rate at about a 7, my wife and son both had salads that they would rate at about a 5, but my son had the burger which was undercooked but very good.



My seafood sandwich quickly became a falling apart wet mess and was not exactly the taste that I expected. The salads were gobbed in salsa and just not all that good. As previously rated, sounds like the burgers are the way to go.



As far as a bar kind of a place to watch a game, excellent. As far as a place to eat, I will not be going back. The selection of beers was extensive, access to your favorite game on a close TV was good, the place was very busy even late night, and there was plenty of security present. Not being from the area, Im not sure why security was needed and so evident, it may be standard in West Reading but realy a safe seeming place in a decent area.



Over all, we were disappointed with the food. Service was a little slow getting the order placed, yet very good once the food was served. My mid 20's sons went back later that evening to watch a game and they had an enjoyable visit.

TRY THE BURGERS VERY GOOD!!!
