        Dr. Barad attended the University of California at Berkeley as an undergraduate, and earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. She interned at Pacific Medical Center, then completed her eye residency training at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital, consistently ranked #2 in the nation, in Philadelphia. She completed a fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard University.Dr. Barad specializes in eye surgery, including cataract with lens implantation, premium lens implants that correct both distance and near vision, eyelid surgery including blepharoplasty (eyelid lift), and glaucoma laser surgery (SLT). Dr. Barad treats patients with all medical eye conditions including glaucoma, dry eye disease, diabetic retinopathy, and age related macular degeneration.Dr. Barad has evolved her scope of practice to include aesthetic medicine.         Would not trust anyone else with my vision!

        From my first visit seeking a second opinion, Dr. Barad has always provided the finest in eye care. Cataract surgeries improved my vision and my glaucoma has been managed and is stable. I feel confident with the care and concern provided by her office staff and wouldn't go anywhere else for my vision care.

        Sought DR Barad do to her expertise in laser assisted lipo. I personally did not feel liposuction should require a general anesthetic....in my case. From my initial appointment, through the procedure and the follow up i was very satisfied. I am excited to see the final results as I believe the time and care Dr Barad spent during the procedure will manifest itself in a very positive result.

        Outstanding attention to detail

        Dr. Barad is outstanding at analyzing the face and has an eye for detail. I am well familiar with many of the physicians in the area who provide similar services as having been a rep for an aesthetic injectable product. I choose Dr. Barad because of her skill set.

        I have ultimate trust in Dr. Barad. She obviously is extremely knowledgeable and takes great care to do a procedure properly and with excellence. Her new line of skin care products is fabulous. I especially like Stem Cell Repair and Brightening Botanical Serum.
