Fox Chapel Ski and Board is a family owned and operated ski and snowboard shop that has been serving the greater Pittsburgh area for over 20 years! We're known locally as the small shop that's big on service. Since 1982, we've been passionate about snowsports, and so are our employees. Fox Chapel Ski and Board uses state-of-the-art equipment to produce high-quality tune ups. Our Full Tune and Mini Tune services provide a total restoration of you ski or snowboard, making it ride like factory-new again. We also offer traditional hot-waxing by iron using our very own Mr. Slick Ski and Snowboard wax. This high quality waxing process gives your ski or snowboard better wax retention and impregnation, so your bases stay slicker for more days on the mountain. Full Service Binding Inspection, Mounting and Adjustments by Certified Technicians Don't forget to have your ski bindings checked if you have changed your ski boots, or if you have changed in height, weight or ski ability! Having the correct binding adjustment and setting can make all the difference between your boots coming out at the right time during a fall, to not coming out at all. Thinking of remounting an old binding to a new ski? We can remove your bindings from your old ski and mount them onto any new flat-ski in our store! This can be a huge savings for people that are looking to upgrade their skis but still have fairly new bindings. Our technicians are also ready to install or adjust snowboard bindings to perfectly fit new boots, or if you'd like to try a different stance when riding we can help with that too!
