my wife and I ate here bout 5 years ago, and the food was ok well better than ok. im not sure what they have changed or have done different! the food was awful and disgusting!! considering we played over $50 for this meal we were more than(we only had our meals and sweet tea) unsatisfied!! wont go back again!! the service was good!! you can find something better than this!!!

We consider ourselves pretty bbq savvy. My husband and I travel all over the country, and always his a couple of bbq spots on each trip. I've had VERY, VERY bad BBQ and I've had VERY, VERY wonderful bbq. Bennett's, sadly, did not even come near the good end. The meat we had was dry, and the sides were bland. If you are in the area, look for another spot to get your bbq because there are a lot of great places in the area. Look for the smaller, family owned places. Look for smoke coming out of a real hickory pit smoker. Then you'll know you are getting the real thing that is real fresh. We ate at 2 others during our stay last week for the Grand Rod Run, and one was amazing, the other was good. BOTH were hands down superior to this place.
