The International School of the Peninsula is a coeducational pre-kindergarten school that offers Chinese and French language classes. Established in 1979, the school serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. Its middle school serves students in grades sixth through eighth and assists students to prepare for admission in American and international high schools. The school has been certified by the French Ministry of Education, California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). It maintains two campuses that house a science laboratory, libraries, and art and music rooms. The school s Maternelle and Early Years Program assist parents in the upbringing of children and provide essential experiences and learning. It also offers after school activities, such as chess, Chinese dance, soccer, science and cooking classes. The International School of the Peninsula is located in Palo Alto, Calif.
