1st : we forgot a juicy jacket in our room with shoes, one hour after our check out, they did not find our jacket and shoes.
2nd : the pool is cold in winter, not heated
3th : at the pool, the waiter took us like a tourist and put 20% tips for a lunch for two people
4th : do not take "benedict eggs" it is not a holland sauce, it is like a junk food
5th : saturday night, at the restaurant, we waited one hour for our entree, the meal arrived almost cold, we asked some bread = 10mn later, we asked ketchup for french fries= 10mn later, nobody made excuses... my entree ($34) was two piece of lamb with 20 beans in a bad sauce.... my god, where the chef learn to cook ????
Hopefully, the hotel is nice, beautifull but that's it, you have better place in Palm Springs for to eat or to stay...

- Originally built in 1936 by reputed Purple Gang Mobster Al Wertheimer, the Colony Palms Hotel was once a saloon, speakeasy and gambling house that later became a playground for Hollywood ICONS including Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Rita Hayworth.
