Cynthia is active in the community participating in events and training seminars, engaging with her peers and serving on several committees with the Women’s Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association. In addition, she is an energetic and committed volunteer with the Volunteer Lawyer’s Project and Senior Partner’s For Justice making regular Appearances on behalf of client’s in crises and emergency situations. Such Appearances supplement a decade of community service, including contributions to Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights, Lawyers Feed The Hungry and the Domestic Violence Institute at Northeastern University. Attorney MacCausland has earned recognition from her peers having recently been nominated to Co-Chair the Pro-Bono Committee of the Boston Bar Association Family Law Section, to the Massachusetts Juvenile Bar Association Board of Directors and as a Fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation. Additionally, Cynthia has been recognized for her innovative use of technology in her practice speaking as a panelist at the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Annual Conference of the Juvenile Bar Association on the topic of “Establishing and Maintaining a Paperless Office.”
