Overall
Awful, just awful

I have no idea where to begin with this. So let's just go from the top. Was greeted and signed in and told the wait was 10mins. Was more like 25. Strike one.(I work customer service and when you give an ETA for service or product you round up. So if something will take 5mins you say 10mins, to be safe. Meaning 10mins will be maximum wait time.) The stylist completely misunderstood my request. Strike two. Which was explained "keep the top long; taking some off but not alot, thin and take the bulk out of my hair, short on the sides and back, texture and blend) I was in the chair for 10mins and felt she just used her shears a few times then she turned me around and proceeded to check me out. And rang me up for a haircut, which if she was willing to call it a day with me for what she did, she should had rang me up for a trim. I reiterated my request and she sat me down in the chair again and proceeded to cut my hair. Finally she asked me if that was good, I said OK. For the sake of moving it along. And did not notice until I got home and really examined my cut. It was awful. No bulk taken out, not blended very well. And top of that she left the back of hair long and thick, and also when was touching up to make the line on the back she cut the hell out of me with her clippers. Pardon my English, but it really hurt. I was surprised she did not see my face when she was doing it. I called back and expressed my dissatisfaction with the cut. And the exployee was courteous and said I may return to that or any Great Clips to correct the problem at no further expense. I returned later that day to correct my boogus cut. The second hair cutter did a better job but it was still not quality work. Lots of stray hairs, again no good blending, and for the second time in one day my neck was cut by someone not deserving to have clippers in their hands. This great clips sees a lot of volume(people traffic) and I felt like I was on assembly line for a cheap product. No real care or quality, they are just trying to get the job done, in and out. Which seems the case in Michigan. This state can't even manage its capitol(which is bankrupt) so I guess it was outlandish for me to think they could handle cutting hair right? In summary: customer service was adequate, not good or great, quality of cut = poor, attention to detail again poor, understanding of patrons needs and request; fail. So if you are looking for a quality care hair cut don't come here, I'd suggest getting the clippers yourself and buzzing your hair, or getting a friend to do it for free. Not the bottom 5% of the cosmotology school graduates, or the drops outs. If you want quality don't come here.
