Kennedy & Perkins Opticians - New Haven

I got an eye exam at Kennedy & Perkins Whitney Ave North Haven and purchased glasses from them that day. When the lenses arrived they were fitted at the New Haven office. The vision through the right lens was blurry and the vision through the left lens was blurry. When I went back to K&P and complained the North Haven sales clerk said the earliest they could address the problem would be another appointment over 3 weeks in future. Even though I had been a customer for decades. After a great deal of pondering that indifference, my impression is that the business model is probably mostly about sales people pushing masses of high profit frames out the door with the optics being almost an afterthought.When you tell a clerk their glasses literally are giving you headaches, and show her how bad the vision was looking at signs in the store, I'd have thought she might want to prioritize or expidite a fix ???? Nope.

Kennedy & Perkins is THE place for eyewear. Rick, Dart and staff are super-professional and knowledgeable. Once you buy glasses, they service them for life.

You will find no better service than at Kennedy and Perkins. The staff at the New Haven store was great and I have the coolest pair of frames. A bit pricey, but well worth it. ALL my friends comment on how good my glasses look. (by the way, I can see great with them too.)
