Memphis' first Thermography center for healthy body imaging. Using thermal imaging, we help improve your chances of early detection and prevention of various diseases, including breast cancer, digestive disorders, and many others.

Thermography Center of Memphis offers both men and women a totally noninvasive and radiation free clinical imaging procedure for detecting and monitoring a number of diseases and physical injuries by showing the thermal abnormalities present in the body. This imaging is done through the use of an F.D.A. registered Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging camera. The images, or 'Thermograms,' are sent electronically to MD's (Thermologists) who are board certified in interpretation and reporting.

Digital thermography is also great for revealing vascular changes, digestive disorders, myofascial dysfunction, dental inflammation, thyroid disorders and other physiological abnormalities.

Ultrasound
Inflammatory breast cancer progresses rapidly, often in a matter of weeks or months. Its aggressive nature makes early detection critical. Inflammatory breast cancer is not usually detected by ultrasound or mammograms until it has reached stage III or IV. Thermography is a valuable screening tool in the early detection of IBC. Small intestinal bacteria overgrowth (SIBO), yeast overgrowth, parasites – Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is the presence of excessive bacteria in the small intestines that causes malabsorption of nutrients. According to Dr. Axe, the most common symptoms of SIBO and IBS include: nausea, diarrhea, joint pain, rashes, acne, asthma, eczema, and depression.
Lesions
Breast tissue is composed of connective tissue (dense tissue) and fatty tissue (non-dense tissue). When a woman's breast is composed of more connective tissue and less fat, she is considered to have dense breasts and is at greater risk for developing breast cancer. Dense breast tissue makes it more difficult for mammography to pick up suspicious lesions. In the mammogram picture on the left, you can clearly see the tumor present. However, in the picture on the right, it is impossible to detect the tumor due to the presence of dense breast tissue. Thermography is a valuable screening that can detect physiological changes, even in dense breast tissue. This test can provide a clinical marker to the doctor that a specific area of the breast needs particularly close attention.
