Zaid Hakim greeted us promptly, as we walked into the store. He was not pushy, however he led us to exactly what I wanted to purchase. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with, while I was like a kid in a candy store. We purchased a living room and dinette set, along with two rugs. Ecstatic to say the least. Will return soon, for several decor items.

Went to the McDonough Store to buy a couch. The sales agent Mitch Coleman was very nice. I wasn't sure of the size of the room so I put the couch on layaway and went home to measure the space. The sales person and I discussed before purchase what our plan of action would be if the couch was too big after I returned home and measured. And I was advised he would refund my card via telephone with no problem. Well I got home and measured and as agreed I called him for the refund and he had left for the day. smh. I waited til the next morning 10:01 am when they opened and he was asked if he had anything to substitute this couch for that wasn't as large. He send he would text me a few pics right away. 3.5 hours later I get a pic smh (not what I would call right away). I immediately inquired about the cost of two of the couches. 3 hours later still no response. So I call the store and I am put on hold 6 minutes and eventually hang up. I make a second call to the store and the young lady advised that he was busy and she would take a message. I advised her that I would like him to call me regarding a refund, at which time she places me on hold. The next thing I know a store manager named Chris (refused to provide last name) gets on the phone and tries to make me buy a couch, despite being advised I just wanted a refund as was agreed. he advised he could have corporate cut me a check or I could drive an hour and 15 min to have it credited back to my card. he was advised that I was told by Mitch that he could refund me over the phone and he said Mitch would not. meanwhile Mitch is texting me telling me he is going to refund my card. upon advising Chris that I was receiving those messages he implied i was being untruthful and he would have to see himself. I asked him to speak with his agent. Long story short I spend 2.30 hours yesterday riding back and forth to that store trying to get my card refunded because the sales person lied to get a sale and the manager refused to honor the commitment made by his staff member. Really trying to force me to buy anything else. I do not recommend this store. Once a liar shows themselves to you then believe them. Poor customer service and believe me the 'nice" professional service turned around quickly and they became rude. And customer No Service refers you back to the store to speak to a manager who is a problem.I do not recommend this location to anyone.

Worse customer service ever!!!!! Delivered two broken dressers in two different trips while we had to take a whole day off both times to sit around and wait on them. They were uncaring about the situation and would not agree to have it delivered after we got off work. So now being without a dresser that is paid for we wait for a third one. One month without a dresser that I paid for and they were not willing to waive delivery few or reimburse any of my money/ I will NEVER spend another penny in here again. The manager mike is a liar, rude, uncaring, and a thief. They have my dresser that I paid for and will not make things right/ I understand accidents happen but I am a paying customer and have had to even pay more for the merchandise by taking time off work to wait on broken furniture and they won't make things right with their paying customers!!!!! Ridiculous customer service and management. I suggest pay a little more and go to havertys.
