Texas State Technical College is a coeducational, two-year, public technical college that is operated by the Texas State Technical College System. It offers a wide range of degree programs in information technology, engineering and manufacturing, health and sciences, business and commerce and transportation. The college also offers various academic courses, such as physics, English, mathematics, social and behavioral sciences and developmental education. The college provides specialized training and services for business and industry, noncredit continuing technical education and community service programs for the residents of east Texas. It also provides a variety of student services that include career and guidance counseling, tutoring, student activities, accommodations for students with special needs, financial aid, housing and provisions for health care. Texas State Technical College was established in 1965 and is located in Marshall, Texas.
