GradePower Learning Mansfield is very excited to provide an amazing, research based, and innovative educational program with over thirty years of experience here in the United States and Internationally. At GradePower Learning we build children’s cognitive and metacognitive skills and awareness, which are critical in order to absorb, understand and process information. We believe these skills and academic success leads to increased motivation and a more positive self-esteem. GradePower Learning’s overarching philosophy is ‘Helping Each Child Achieve Their Highest Potential.’ At GradePower we become familiar with each child’s strengths and areas of challenge as they participate in the GradePower’s Dynamic Diagnostic Assessment process. Furthermore, the results from the dynamic assessment and our observations during the assessment process provide the foundation for developing an individualized program for each child. We are proud to share that children at GradePower achieve better grades while gaining new, lifelong cognitive skills because our curriculum gets back to the basics, builds awareness about effective learning strategies, and teaches children how to think for themselves. We believe in teaching children to review their own work, reflect on decisions they made and to learn from and celebrate their mistakes. Most importantly---while attending GradePower Learning in Mansfield, children will be able to transfer their newly learned strategies within their academic setting. GradePower has such an interactive and fun approach to learning that children are excited to continue learning throughout the summer in one of our amazing programs! GradePower Learning has programs for children ages 3-17 ( from pre-K through twelfth grade). Programs offered by Gradepower Learning in Mansfield include: - The Little Readers® Program is designed to develop a love of learning and promotes reading readiness skills in a small student to teacher ratio and many fun activities including art, music, calendar math and hands on games and activities. This program is primarily for children ages 3-6. - Beyond Tutoring® works with children starting kindergarten through 8th Grade in developing strong foundational skills, including cognitive strategies. This program is individualized based on the dynamic diagnostic assessment and focuses on each student’s strengths and weaknesses. This program is primarily for children ages 6-17. - The Advantage Program supports students in maximizing high school success and prepares them for college. This program provides students with test taking strategies and effective study habits that will help them secure admission into the college of their choice. -The SAT and ACT program will ensure enrolled students receive an integrated and comprehensive approach to SAT and ACT preparation. This will include a review of higher-level math concepts, test taking strategies, and essay writing.
