        We provide an environment in which each child has the opportunity to progress at his/her own level of development and which acknowledges the uniqueness of each child. Our indoor classroom activities are placed on open shelves for selection as interest and readiness inspires the child. The environment entices curiosity, leading to creativity and the fostering of a child’s self esteem. This then enables love of learning for the child to master academic skills. It also encourages positive social skills, such as effective communication, internal discipline, and problem solving. The curriculum has been developed to encourage the children to have a life-long love of learning. We provide a non-competitive environment where children of different abilities, race, cultural backgrounds, and ages work, play, share, and learn from one another. We provide an environment in which each child has the opportunity to progress at his/her own level of development. We maintain a happy, pleasant atmosphere in which the child can absorb information and find joy in learning.

        One of the great things about New World Montessori School is that they encourage excellence and a well-rounded person. You don't have to be concern if your child has a passion for solving some unique equations. The school will gently guide and direct your child into other activities and settings with the sole purpose of rounding and balancing your child?s interests. The New World Montessori School encourages academic excellence, but requires your child to be engaged in athletic activities several times a week.The school Principal Ms. Yasmeen, created her vision and mission statement, guiding core values, and educational philosophy for her true and authentic Montessori School method. This method drives decision making and becomes her lighthouse for guidance, leadership and direction! In a time and society where many parents feel and express worry about the kind of start their children are receiving as they begin school, it is vital to realize that basics are important.TTanya W

        My sons (ages 4 and 6) are excelling and thriving, academically and socially.

        My 6 year old's initial school experience was in an LA Unified elementary school where he became angry and disruptive. The teachers and methods at New World Montessori are a perfect match for his insatiable appetite for new information...no more daily teacher conferences LOL! My 4 year old, whose social style is very different from his brother's, is also learning new information at a remarkable pace. Both boys love school and learning, which is the most important outcome of our having found New World Montessori.
