        I ha e been going to Lake Wales Veterinary since I was a child They are family to me they have taken care of my parents dogs and mine I just lost my sweet Buddy after 13 years they always took amazing care of him they comforted me when I lost him two days ago They loved my family and our dogs I will always be so grateful to Lisa Sue Dr Mathews and Dr Scotsman they are family I can’t thank them enough❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

        I am very happy with all the the doctors and staff. When ever I have a question about anything, they take the time to explain it in detail. I have gone to other places, but they can't hold a candle to Lake Wales Veterinary Hospital.

        This used to be the best vet practice in the area, but they have gone way downhill in the last year or so. Where they once put patients' needs first, now it's all about the bottom line. Their prices have increased and their service has plummeted. They have very high employee turn over. Always new staff... some pleasant, some not so much. Many techs are clearly fearful of certain dog breeds, and some are completely incompetent. The original vets are rarely available, so you often get recent grads - but still pay for experienced vets. Sad to lose such an icon in this area, but I wouldn't go back there again - even if they were free!
