Restaurateur Kevin Aoki and his brother, Music Producer/EDM Deejay Steve Aoki, created Bluetree Café, a calm oasis for guests to grab a healthy snack, fresh juices, coffee, and tea. The inspiration for the indoor/outdoor cafe was their grandfather, Yunosuke Aoki, who was the first in their family to open a coffee shop in Nihonbashi, Japan. Yunosuke would travel four miles on a bicycle to Tokyo to collect sugar, return to his shop, and offer it free to enhance his customer’s coffee experience.
