        HORRIBLE. Don't waste your time unless you're a personal friend of the owner or bartender. The hours stated they were open until 10 pm, but a group of 6 of us showed up at 8:30 and the doors were locked. Bartender looked us and waved us away. We talked to some of the locals and they said it was the "norm" for the place. Oh, and Mr. Hateful bartender, you just missed out on a LOT of money! WON'T BOTHER TO GO BACK.

        We were there 10/12 and had purchased some appetizers with drinks for four. We had 4 more people coming to join us but the owner told us we had to leave because we were not eating. We had just finished our appetizers but he did not believe us. We were waiting on the other 4 to arrive so we could order dinner but he apparently had some friends he wanted to seat and made us leave. We have been coming here for years but NOT ANYMORE due to the rude owner. They made us leave and gave our table to friends. Very poor customer service and appreciation for paying customers. He missed out on our final tab big time! I'm not sure if these are new owners or not but they were horrible to us this year.

        Built in 1878, the Concert Hall and Barrel is the oldest continually operating tavern west of the Mississippi. Today we proudly continue a time-honored tradition of good food and good times in Hermann, Missouri. Open daily, we serve lunch and dinner, featuring German specialties year-round. Our menu includes a wide selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, steaks, pizzas and seafood. Our sports bar is a place where customers can eat, drink and socialize while watching the latest televised sports events on our numerous television screens. We have four big TV screens, and when the patio is open we add another! We serve a wide selection of local wines, craft beers, spirits and signature drinks. As in days of old, the spacious second-floor Concert Hall can accommodate a large group for rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, birthday parties, business meetings, and fundraisers. A private banquet room on the first floor may be reserved for smaller occasions. Located in historic downtown Hermann, Missouri, it’s just a short walk from the Amtrak station, making it a great first or last stop in town.
