        What is the point of a reservation?

        I have always enjoyed slates restaurant. Great food, service and ambience! Today, I had to wait over an hour for brunch food when I had made a reservation a week in advance! A little dissapointing. The server was very nice and apologetic. I could understand maybe if it was dinner but for eggs?
