Mesquite grill needs to close. I don't think they are too far away from closing the doors as it is. It starts with the rude owner/cook Robert. Very rude, arrogant man. He tells everyone he meets he has the best food in town, and chastises you if you have never been to his establishment. Then its the horrible food. Frozen, old, reheated, canned. I felt like I had been fed by a teenager and A microwave! Astronomical prices for itty bitty portions. Also, his meat is 70% 30% fat. I looked up this place on the health dept website, and mesquite grill has been sited for at least 1 major violation every year. I don't know how this place has been open so many years??? It is apparent he has not put a dime into anything since the place opened. Tacky decor, mis matched worn down silverware, old plates, old booths, etc. There is a painted glassware section at the back that looks like they bought the items from elementary school kids fund raising project and are trying to resale them for a high price. People can find better quality hand painted items at a 2nd store or garage sale for much less. Trust me....save your time, hard earned money, and mental state by going to a real stake house, or a real sea food establishment. This place is Longjohn Silvers like 20 years ago with crappy everything, + Stake Escape + Super slow service + an old Persian burnout. Get a real Shef! Or close! And stop ripping people off!

Not sure why so many have given this place low ratings but I don't trust them. This place has the best burger in town and the salmon is terrific. Friendliest service anywhere.

What? Dry veggies that I would be shocked if they didn't come out of a mixed frozen veggie packet. Tiny, sad, wilted salad ($2.50 extra). The fish was OK...
I don't mind paying for good food. But call a spade a spade. This is not good food. I'd be mad if I spent $30 total for that meal. Either way, they wasted my time, and my Friday evening meal.
This restaurant needs a chef, **I feel like I got fed by a teenager and a microwave. **
The bathrooms - clean , atmosphere- great...The wait staff- amazing - the reason I didn't throw a fit in the restaurant about a $95 (before tip) bill for 3 people to eat.... And have to go home to eat.
***Get a chef!*** Horrible food. Horrible. Still hungry an hour later, and ripping po'd now that we are home after dropping that much cash and everyone is aggravated and hungry.
