Overall

Soaked me for $100 to ground ship a 21lb package to California. I contacted UPS to find out that the store fronts are individually owned and rates vary. I will be going to the UPS hub from now on. For reference it cost me $48 to have the same package overnighted to my residence.

Overall

Paid for them to pack a neon sign for shipping to Corpus. It was broken by the time it got here. UPS picked up the broken sign. Never heard back from them for four months. When I called UPS they said that they had refused the claim because it was improperly packed. This UPS store said that they just put peanuts around it and it was not there fault. So it is denied, denied, denied until you get frustrated and go away. Don't brother getting insurance because they will do the same thing. UPS racket. Went to BBB but after thousands of complaints they still have UPS listed as an A.

My wife was trying to get some Buisness Cards made. My wife went to the UPS store on Friday June 27th at 1pm to order some cards, in which she had to pre pay for. The guy(Augie) took her info and had written down what she wanted the cards to say. A girl then informed her that when the cards are ready they will call her to let her know. Around 3:30 my wife called the UPS store to check on the cards; a young lady answered the phone and informed my wife that the cards have not been started yet. My wife asked when they might be done because she was going to pick up my kids from daycare and didnt want to drive around town or sit in the car just waiting for the cards to be done. The girl said 4:30. My wife came back at 4:30 and no one had started on the cards yet. Augie informed her that he was starting the cards and it would take a few minutes. He then continued to do other things besides work on the cards and told her she would need to come back. my wife asked for her money back and Augie said no, you can not get your money back without permission from his boss. My wife told him to call his boss. As she checked on the kids, Augie said he called and no one answered. My wife then informed him again she wanted her money back and she was going to go somewhere else to get the cards done. Augie told her again, no you can not have your money back. She then asked him for his name and the corporate number. He would not give her the number and he refused to give her his name. My wife then had me call and talk to Augie. At that time i got his name, and I asked for a corporate number. He gave me a fake number to call. This person is not professional and obiously does not care about his job.
