We call the University Theater the Cheap Theater not because of the quality, but because of the price. While the movies aren't as recent, the amount you pay for it makes up for it. They have two dollar tuesdays which are an extra good deal. This theater is perfect for watching a movie more than once.

For about 7 years I've lived behind University Mall, and one thing I will never forget if I ever move away is the Theatre. It is a great place to meet up with friends, take family, or just spend some time on your day off. It is extremely convenient, cheap, and welcoming. They are also constantly making renovations to try to make it more comfortable, but still maintain their low prices. Yes, the movies come a little later then normal, but it's definitely worth the wait to pay a small fraction of the price than you would pay at other main stream theatres. University Mall Theatres is a well-run addition to an already fantastic hang-out spot.
