The company began by manufacturing retail store fixtures and had a breakthrough with its introduction of with its line of Gondola/Wall Shelving at a national trade show. That product has remained one of the company s best sellers. Madix offers more than 65,000 steel, wire and wood products. The company has continued its steady growth by becoming one of the leading manufacturers of store fixtures, specialty products, heavy-duty racking and workstations. In 2003, Madix acquired Spencer Products. The company retail merchandising and storage products are marketed to retail customers, such as automotive, book, catalog, convenience, discount, drug, electronics, grocery, hardware, home improvement, manufacturer, music, office supply, pet supplies, soft goods, specialty, sporting goods, toy, video and warehouse companies.
