        This place is going downhill fast! When we first started going to the EC Texas Roadhouse the steaks were tender, the service was acceptable, and the atmosphere was deplorable. Now the atmosphere is simply plain awful, the service is not acceptable, and the steaks are not edible due to poor quality. My wife and I were looking for a good steak so we decided to sacrifice and try Texas Roadhouse one more time. We walked in, noticed it was the normal, noisy, unattractive place it was previously but we followed a waitress to the normal crowded table and uncomfortable chairs. The waitress gave us the impression she was in a big hurry but we took our time anyway! We ordered two ribeyes, knowing it's normally quite tender steak. To make a long story short, we started eating the ribeyes and I noticed mine was darn near unchewable. I chose not to say anything to my wife about the problem but noticed she was having a time chewing her steak also. After a few minutes, she said her steak was

        The beer's cold, and the steak...

        The beer's cold, and the steaks, ribs, and chicken-fried steak are great. It gets pretty crowded and a little noisy, but if you're in the mood for that it's a fun place. Throw your peanut shells on the floor and drink some beer.
