Overall
The Art of Apartment living!

Our original apartment fell through at the last minute and we simply didn't know what it would be like living in Denver and at "1375".

It has turned out to be the very best apartment experience I could have imagined!

The company that owns and manages the building is top notch in every way - with an exceptionally responsive on- site manager. The friendly and knowledgeable maintenance staff gets things immediately and anticipates and prevents problems! The owner visits regularly and knows every resident by name. During bad weather, someone is here all day keeping the snow shoveled. In the morning, coffee is brewed and the newspaper ready, if you like a bit of company in the living room...or your paper delivered to your door by the staff.

Security is exceptional with double entry doors and a phone system and a desk person to take packages. The staff also performs regular checks throughout the building, which gives me a great sense of security.

There is a van for group outings (including shopping and events) and a car service available for other needs.

I am in a wheelchair and was surprised to find doorways extra wide,a huge turn-around bathroom, universal design throughout the building, handicapped parking and easy access to public transportation...all of which I need regularly.

The amenities are really great, especially the roof which is fabulous. The activities are fun and feel more like just getting together with friends. Concierge services are billed only as needed and ordered which keeps the cost reasonable for those of us on limited incomes.

Everything is done with great attention to detail and no expense appears to be spared.

Oh, one thing you might want to know is that the average age is around the early 60s and maybe half are retired. It is advertised as active adult 55+, though some are in their 40s. A very nice mix of the kind of considerate, intelligent folks you'd want as neighbors.

ps this is a 'real' review- I just found it to be a jewel of a place!
