(I wrote the same review on Google, fyi) These guys are awesome! My husband and I are new to Cecil County and didn't know who to call when our water pressure took a nosedive after our main pipe had frozen. We first called out a big-name, well-advertised plumber and he didn't even pull the pump, just told us the pump was original to the well and we needed to replace the pump, the hose and the wiring. It was a $3600 job. I then found Alexander Plumbing for a second opinion and I'm so glad I did! After describing the issue, Mark Alexander (owner) came out with one of his guys and he ended up having to pull up the pump because he didn't want to tell us we needed a new one when it could be fine. He also mentioned that if the pump was 40 years old as the other guy had said, he wanted to mount it on his wall because there was no way that would still be working! As it turned out, the piece that connects the hose to the pump had blown because of the pipe being frozen and the pressure of the water coming back to the well. The pump was only 6-8 years old, completely fine, and now everything is working perfectly! Better than before, actually. I would call them out again for a problem in a heartbeat! He also took extra time to show me how to get my water softener system going and that's working amazing as well. I saved almost $3200 by calling these guys out!
