Gymnastics World

My daughter has been attending this school since she was 6 years old (now 11). She has progressed fantastically under the coaching and support of Mari Kosuge (former olympic gold medalist for Japan) and Freddy Behin (former national champion for Iran). They make it challenging but still fun and positive. The child comes first before gymnastics and their philosophy is well-being in mind and body. It's a real healthy balance.



You can expect a positive, fun atmosphere that allows the child to decide how far she/he will take their active interests.

If you are looking for a gym for you child or children to learn gymnastics you can stop looking. Gymnastics World is by far the best gym in the L.A., Ventura area. The coaching staff at GW is qualified, professional, caring, and truly concerned about the well being of each student. They have former Olympians teaching the team, as well as younger students who may someday be on the team. My daughter was accepted on the team by the coaches and other girls with open arms. They made her transition from a previous gym painless. She not only gained new friends, but new sisters. The team parents accepted us as if they had known us for years. I have never felt more comfortable leaving my daughter for hours on end to train. I know she is in capable hands that are training her in a safe environment. She loves her coaches, and she loves GW. Coach Freddy, who is also the owner of the gym has produced a staff and facility that is 2nd. to none. Like I stated earlier, STOP LOOKING. Gymnastics World can not be matched

The facility & staff are unmatched. My two daughters have tried other gyms & it was more like a baby sitting class.

Their growth both Physically & mentally, makes the 40 minute drive each way well worth it. Just go by & check

Gymnastics world is a great gym to be at. I have had my two daughters going to GW for the past 3 years and I would not choose any other gym for them. The staff is unbelievable. They have several world champions and olympians teaching the kids and you can see the love and passion on their faces when they interact with the children.



This gym is always clean and the equipment is top notch. They have a cool little lounge area with TV for parents and sibling to sit and do their work. The gym is air conditioned, which is a major plus!



The owner is a really friendly and professional guy and he makes sure that every one is taken care of. Safety is number one on his list for GW and you will see that from day one. All coaches are friendly and helpful. They pride themselves on the quality.



My two daughters have gained a lot of self confidence and healthy habits at GW, a lot more than we have bargained for. What I like the most is that they make it a goal to give each and every child their attention and help them achieve greatness. The coaches are very humble and professional in their conduct. You always see everyone smiling.



We have tried Gymnastics Olympica and Le Club before coming to GW and neither one had a professional staff or the love and dedication these coaches show at Gymnastics World. At both gyms my daughters were taught by teenagers who didn’t know how to handle children. Unlike Gymnastics Olympica, the coaches at GW pay attention to each child in the class and don’t give focus and praise to only the talented gymnast.



I would definitely recommend Gymnastics World to any one looking for a fun, healthy and professional atmosphere for their kids and the option of eventually having them join a competitive team and be trained by these great coaches who have competed internationally. My older daughter will soon be joining the team and we are very happy about how far she has come along. We are very pleased with Gymnastics World and would definitely recommend it as one of the best facilities in LA area.
