Delphi Academy in Campbell

I am so happy with my son's enthusiasm for learning at Delphi Academy. He has been attending since he was 4 years old, when he began kindergarten. By the end of kindergarten he was reading simple books and now, in the second grade, he still loves to read and is doing so with true understanding. Delphi's method encourages the children to ask the meaning of any word they don't fully understand, so they are building vocabulary as they learn to read. Therefore, my son is continuously more able to express himself as he has now read hundreds of books on the Delphi reading program. It's amazing to me how much a young child is able to learn and how much fun he has at Delphi while doing so. All the children in his class have beautiful handwriting and the art program is incredible. The work the kids do is fantastic. The weekly field trips are always to very interesting places and the many cultural festivals on campus celebrate all kinds of people and the diversity at the school. The atmosphere is very warm and safe. I have gotten to know many of the faculty and other families. The school is not too big, so it is possible to have a good feeling of community. Parents do not have to contribute a whole lot, but are always welcome to do so. It's a great school for us.
