We had a fabulous time. The service was excellent, the food outstanding, desserts were heavenly. We took our Aunt there and she just loved it also. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family. The Salad bar was loaded with all fresh pics. You couldn't have asked for anything more. We loved it and plan to go back again soon since we only live 1.5 hrs away......

Even view isn't worth treatment you get here!

If you enjoy being treated badly, this is restaurant for you. Have eaten here few times and food was fair. By far best menu item is trout. But beware if you dare complain if your food is cold or you receive wrong order altogether! We had a large party recently and one adult ordered chargrilled grouper. They offered both chargrilled and blackened grouper. The waitress was unfamiliar with the specials and told us she was new. Everyone has to start somewhere. When food arrived almost everyone's food was lukewarm or cold. Only two requested to receive hot sweet potato fries. Everyone else just sucked it up. One person asked if she could send back the grouper for what she ordered, chargrilled, instead of what she got, blackened. The waitress was kind enough and told her she would bring her the chargrilled grouper. When everyone was just about finished with our meal, the waitress returns to tell us the kitchen was out of grouper and she would gladly pay for half of that one dinner ($18.95) if she could just warm up original dinner and bring it back out. It was almost as if she were afraid to tell manager or kitchen she got order wrong. But being new and us having a party of 9 it was understandable, or so I thought. The lady in our party opted out of getting her original dinner back as she didn't like spicy and the fish would've most likely been rubber at that point. Mind you, it had to be at least 20 minutes since she took meal back to kitchen t this point.

So, bill comes and although the dinner that was returned to kitchen was removed, the had added $10.95 in it's place for a salad bar. Figuring this had to be a mistake, we inquired of the waitress and she said manager insisted we pay for a full salad bar. A salad bar visit comes with entrees but the guest only had a very small serving of basically just lettuce since she was awaiting her entree of chargrilled grouper.

I inquired, very politely, of the manager regarding the salad bar charge stating we realize waitress was new and mistakes can happen. He told me that his waitress has never made a mistake and she wouldn't have written down blackened if lady hadn't ordered it. I told him very nicely that I heard her order and she did, in fact, order the chargrilled. He was very adamant and very rude basically calling me and the lady liars. Now, mind you, our total bill was over $170.00 so why on earth would we lie and regardless of that she never got a dinner! He reluctantly agreed to take off half the salad bar charge which was ridiculous since she never order a salad bar. He said they pride themselves on the salad bar and prep is expensive.

Well, after all said, we ended up paying for a full salad bar after all.

It is my belief this extremely rude manager (possibly owner) thought we were tourists. Regardless, treating customers like this is absolutely unheard of in the industry and totally not acceptable. I will never return and will ensure I post this review everywhere I can to help prevent any future person from enduring such insults and rudeness. If you are a tourist (lots of Floridians visit here) I would highly recommend you ine somewhere else. According to other review sites this is common treatment there.
