Blacksburg Middle School is an educational institution that serves more than 850 students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes English, math, science, history, reading, social studies, fine arts, Spanish, Latin and physical education. The school provides special education classes for students with learning disabilities, as well as coordinates the English as a Second Language program. It maintains a parent-teacher association that holds regular meetings and organizes various fundraising events.
