We been going to this facility for almost 10 years. Their quality of service is going down for last few years and especially now they treated us like trash. My wife had a recent MRI done last week and needed a comparison between current and MRI done back in 2013 at this facility. The request was made by the neurosurgeon to get cd for the previous MRI. They were not busy and chatting. I requested to please hurry (my wife was in severe pain after 3 hours in car travelling for pain doctor visit) and they didn't like that. They played cheeky and said federal rules and regulations don't allow them to release records other than patient and took their frustration out at us. I became annoyed at them as they insisted that my wife has to be there physically as they must see her face for ID purposes. I had shown them my wife's DL but they wanted to see her personally or were asking me to provide a power of attorney signed by her. I told them that my wife is outside with severe back pain, laying in the car (she had already a cervical surgery done and needs lower back surgery because of disk herniation (L4 & L5). I even pulled my car right in front of their door entrance but they won't go to the door (walk 10-15 feet) and see her face to confirm ID. I got so upset that I called 911 for an officer but they didn't budge. I requested for a wheel chair and one with a broken foot rest was provided. No assistance to get my wife into the chair even after my request (saying we don't want to get sued). I hardly managed to walk in the facility with my wife in wheel chair, tears in her both eyes because of severe pain she had (impingement of nerves at L4 & L5) because of this movement. They made her sign and again checked her ID (though I have shown them already). Officer calmed things down and saw my wife crying with pain and offered his assistance and we appreciated that.
Its not that they were right about asking for my wife to be there physically, we always sign both our names as responsible party who can request for the release of medical records. We just signed one last week at the time of MRI service (I had my knee x rays done that same day), so they had that authorization form already signed.
Secondly, Hudson Radiology center medical record release form not only shows the patient's name to be signed at the end but also for Parent/ Guardian and other relationship as well, so others can/were signing on behalf of the patient (I did pick up her records many times in the past).

The most frustrating words the receptionist said were that she doesn't care if she's in pain or what so ever, we care less and she must be here physically. I'm sure they were aware of the fact that my wife has issues with her back so its just inhumane for them not to see her while she is outside next to their entrance and they made her suffer for their ego, wonder if there is any humanity left around us. It might not make any difference to them but at least we are not going there for any exams anymore and please consider carefully every possibility before having your test scheduled.

I have been using this center for years and have only good things to say about the facility, staff and technicians.

I've always been able to get an appointment quickly and sometimes on the same day that I request the test to be done.
The receptionist, Dawn, is pleasant and professional. She goes out of her way to try and accommodate your needs.

I've had several tests done by different technicians and everyone was caring and professional.

Faiza, the tech I've had on several occasions, is absolutely wonderful! She takes great pride in her job. She goes the extra mile to be sure your test is done the best it can be. She's sensitive, caring, kind and very professional.

The center is clean and offers free coffee and snacks. There is also free parking in their lot.

I highly recommend this center for taking the tests your Dr. requires you to have taken.

Overall

I recently had an MRI done at Hudson Radiology Center to aid in diagnosing a shoulder problem. The orthopedist I consulted declared it to be the worst quality MRI he had seen in years (not sharp). He told me to have the MRI redone elsewhere.

The most unprofessional place

I have no idea how this center still open. It's obsloutley the most unclean, disgusting and unprofessional place. It was my first and last visit. My husband had a radiology test that took Around an a hour. While waiting I had the worst experience, the place smells, the bathroom smells and since the seating area is right next to the bathroom I was going to throw up.

I wouldn't suggest anyone to come to this place. I wonder how clean the doctors and the machines are
