Applebee's

Just finished my visit at the battle creek, MI Applebee's, our waitress (Kristina M) was far from pleasant and pretty much rushed us through our meal. She never offered desserts, we had to ask for drink refills and when she came to drop our checks off she placed our checks on the dirty side plates we had just used to eat our appetizers off of. The only thing that was good about this visit was that our food was hot. To add insult to injury, the table in front of us who was also being waited on by the same waitress got the red carpet rolled out for them. Upon them finishing up their meal she suggested to them to be safe out there because there were shots being fired in the parking lot. Not once was this mentioned to us when we finished and paid for our bill. She didn't even stop back by to tell us to have a good night. Her service was mediocre to say the least and I will be sure to never ever sit in her section again.

The food is okay here (not as good as other Applebees, though) but what turned us off was the waiter who adjusted the tip up on the credit slip. He rounded the amount up to the next dollar and it was only 77 cents but if he did that with each customer, it would add up. When we complained about, the said it was a mixup with another tabel. Not very believable!

I've eaten at this restaurant many times, and have had always enjoyed my meals and the service they provide. They also make wonderful mixed drinks.
