This is a place where everyone cares - from the receptionist, the vet techs, and the surgeons. My 5 yr. old Pi had bone cancer and had to have her back leg amputated. They called and checked on her, and offered several options on chemo, radiation, or doing nothing. They are very empathetic and caring.

This place saved my pets life...TWICE!



I got to the Creve Coeur Animal hospital and one night after they were closed my dog developed hives and swelling. The Creve Coeur vet recording suggested this place since it is 24hrs. I rushed over. The vet tech was so sweet and attentive. The Vet I saw was just as good.(Of course I can't remember names...)My dog got 2 shots and was sent away. $125 is not bad for an emergency vet visit.



Not even 1 1/2 weeks later I'm back at their office with my dog having pyometra. She had to have an emergency spay that night. The vet was so caring to listen to me babble and ask 1million questions since I was so worried about my dog. I was scared to leave her but by the way the vet talked I knew she'd be monitored carefully during surgery. The vet called me right after the surgery and gave me an update(at 4am! what dedication!) My dog had to stay there another 2days but even when I visited her the day after all the staff remembered me and knew my dog.



Although it be a not good reason I had to come here I am very happy with this place. I'd take my dog here again in an emergency in a heartbeat! Great staff...Great Vets...Great place!

Our Boxer, Jake was hit by a car. His left leg was a mess. Dr. Haney took Jake under her wing, after surgery and an

external splint. Jake is doing well. The stafff and Dr.s there are exceptional.

Our cat had an accident January 2010. He destroyed all the ligaments in his front left paw. Had to have surgery. The staff and VSS is caring and Dr. Anderson is great! He fixed our little guy and now he is back to playing and is a happy cat!
