Verde's Mexican Parrilla

Food is ok but overpriced. The waitress complained we did not tip enough ($48 for 4 people). Will never go back.

There are no words to describe how amazing Verde's food is. They are known for their grilled items and we've had most of the things on the menu and have not been dissapointed by any one of them. Seriously, everything we've had is good (down to their side dishes and salsa). While they are a tad bit pricey, you will find that its worth every penny to finally eat at a place that has the best quality and flavor you can find.

After reading the one bad review I was not certain what to think, but decided to see for myself. We were a party of four, they were busy and took a call ahead for the seating list. We arrived and were seated right away by the fireplace. The service we received was outstanding, friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. Two of us had the Pollo Palomino and two had the porkchop. Both were OUTSTANDING! The guys had the porkchops and both stated it was the best they had ever eaten anywhere. Us girls felt the chicken was equally good. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. You don't want to skip over this one!!!

I've heard about this place for months and my husband and I finally decided to hear what all the talk was about....



We pulled up to a packed parking lot and quickly learned that we weren't the only ones interested in Verde's. When you walk in, you're greeted by friendly faces and a warm ambiance. I first met Nick, the friendliest, most accommodating bartender we've ever met. He went above and beyond to satisfy our needs (we were on an hour wait, but he was right on top of things and made sure we were taken care of). Nick invited us to try one of 6 homemade infused tequilas. I tried the strawberry and raspberry combination, while my husband tried their homemade sangria...both were amazing (we can't wait to try more)!! While we were waiting, another staff member (Brandy) invited us to check out the patio. Wow!! A lounge area, and dining area (all covered), accompanied by a huge lawn where children of all ages can run free! They have soccer balls, frisbees, footballs, etc. for everyone to enjoy! We ordered the Chipotle Glazed Pork Chop and the Pollo Palomino....again, WOW! The seasoning was perfect! For ONE restaurant to have the WHOLE package is heaven to us!! We've been waiting for a place like this and folks...it's HERE!!! With a lot of restaurants you have good food, but not so good service, or a not so good atmosphere...but, they've got it all!! Well done Verde's and THANK YOU!!! We'll definitely be back!
