North Amherst Motors

why are there 3 exact copies of the above review?? I have not found that North Amherst Motors is fast at all. They have had my car for over a month and still have it! When I asked if there was a problem with fixing it, they said no...it is all going well, not true, I have now been told it may be an additional 2 weeks to get my car back! I would think twice before using them, especially if you would like your car back in a reasonable amount of time.

Stranded by a broken tie rod near midnight, AAA recommended the closest AAA approved repair shop as North Amherst Motors. I knew they did well with body work, but no idea about mechanical work. They surpassed my expectation. The truck dropped off my car about 1 a.m. I left information along with my key, in their drop-slot. I called at 9 am, and they had it scheduled for assessment of the problem, projected repair time, etc. My car was repaired, and back on the road, aligned and WASHED (!), by 5:20 pm. I dreaded the expense of renting a car for days, and their fast service made that unnecessary. They were friendly, accomodating, and filled me in on what they were doing, and put my mind at ease by checking out the OTHER side for any sign of potential similar failure, at my request. I had to call them to get the information on where they were in the process of assessment, calling for parts, & estimate of time to completion. (That is the only reason for 4,not 5, stars) Recommended.

North Amherst Motors was recommended by my car insurance. They were fast (called them at 11:00 am and dropped my car off same day at 2:00 pm). I was surprised that my car was finished in less than a week. The body work is amazing, and the paint match is spot on. Incredible customer service. This is the only place my friends and family will bring their cars from now on.
