Dental Examination
Most patients who visit Thousand Oaks Oral Surgery receive an oral exam and consultation for the first time. This appointment helps us address your diagnosis and determine the suitable treatment plan that works best for you. A simple procedure may even be done on the same day, but most patients will need to visit our practice on another day for their operation.

Best results. The crown is a customized prosthesis designed to blend into the surrounding teeth for the most natural look imaginable.
Bridges
A dental bridge can provide a practical option if one or more teeth need to be replaced and are close together. Tooth-supported bridges fasten over several teeth to bridge the gap between the lost teeth. Unfortunately, the teeth that hold the bridge need to be ground down to secure the prosthesis — even if they are healthy. While many bridges are attached with a permanent adhesive, some are detachable. A general dentist sets a bridge.

Root Canal Treatment
I had a root canal with another doctor that ended up not being able to be finished because of the condition of my tooth, so I was referred to Dr. Nakano’s office and they were able to take me immediately for an extraction. Dr. Nakano and his staff were very professional and friendly. Months later after healing from the extraction, I returned for an implant procedure. The staff and Dr. Nakano explained the procedure and the instructions very thoroughly so that I felt confident about doing it. Post-surgery recovery was very quick and I had no pain or problems. The overall experience was excellent and I highly recommend Dr. Nakano and his staff.

Dentures
The full-arch restoration procedure works by strategically setting four or more dental implants on the lower or upper arch. A temporary but firm set of teeth will be utilized right after the dental implants have been set. A permanent arch will be placed after the dental implants have recovered. A full-arch restoration can be put in place, like the All-on-4® procedure, or detachable like the Bar Replacement Denture.
