My son was seen by One of the dentist at this office the dr. is great but the staff are full of crap. They don't know how to do their job. My son was scheduled for surgery in March 4 no one called me, I called them 2 days before the surgery I was told that it was just on Medical note but someone forgot to write his name on actual date of the surgery. Don't go here this place is sucks

I've no idea what happened with the other reviews, but my experience here was wonderful. The office was clean and equipment was state of the art. Doctor Michael Castillo (may have miss spelled his first name) was nice, and explained my options pre and post treatment. The anesthesiologist did their job wonderfully, I could've walked out of the office had I needed to, though they wheeled me out in a wheelchair to a convenient loading dock and even offered me assistance getting into the truck. In a previous experience at a Colorado doctor getting my wisdom teeth removed, I started waking up halfway home, apparently attempted to get out of the car, and was seeing stacks of everything floating above themselves. Here, I woke up in the chair in my right mind, and was %100 besides the loopiness from the intravenous painkiller. Pain my ***, saer123, first pain came when I tried to not take the vicodin. My treatment plan explained everything I needed to do to avoid infection, and despite my ignoring the warnings not to smoke, am having no issues whatsoever. To respond to 'psychopathic', I was shown not only the infection i knew of from my regular dentist, but a second starting up, and both were treated. I was shown the x-rays, (which were taken by a cool 360 degree x-ray machine) and he even pointed out the infections and circled them with a light board type highlighting tool to help clarify everything. Now, I made the appointment for a consultation, but they completed that, then offered to do the surgery that day, and had it all COMPLETED WITH ME OUT THE DOOR BY MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME. Wonderful, talk about timely. If you need dental surgery, i would highly recommend this location, or at least Dr.Castillo. Oh, and they called to make sure everything was doing well a couple days after my surgery. Let you suffer my foot.

I am phobic about dentists and while I will never say I enjoyed going to a dentist I can say that after trying various dentists over 47 years of my life none has been as fantastic as Dr. Pham. I am in SA for a few weeks visiting family and broke a tooth. Knowing that the root would have to be removed I tried putting it off until I got home. Didn't work. Massive infection and pain. Made an appointment (in tears) with Dr. Pham's office. They saw me promptly, were very gentle and caring, did not embarrass me or condescend to me, although I realize how difficult a ptsd patient can be. X-Rays and an exam for $50 (a special running at this time) which is pretty much unheard of. Extraction, nitrous oxide, local anesthetic and prescription for $231. (Please note that these prices were based on my dental nee.ds at the time and I have NO idea what any other patient's cost would be) Plus, since I was paying cash was given an additional 15% discount. From paperwork to payment Dr. Pham's office was caring, professional, patient and helpful. I will be coming up to SA for all my dental treatment from now on. Luckily I only live in Corpus Christi and believe me 120+ miles is NOTHING when Dr. Pham will be taking care of me.



ALSO - keeping it all in the family, the Pham Family Pharmacy (say that 3 times fast) is less than a block away and my prescription was filled in less than 10 minutes. All in all, the PHAM family made my day a thousand times better.

NEVER GO HERE. BEWARE!!! THEY WILL LET YOU SUFFER IN PAIN AND RISK SERIOUS INFECTION.

The dentist that saw me was Jack W. Pool. I being a person who has not gone through any sort of surgery ever in my life was very nervouse and not too comfortable about it all. So I was asking a lot of questions, which seemed to anger Pool. At one point I was thinking that he was talking about pulling the wrong tooth. I kept on insisting that it was the one right before the wisdom tooth, and he was saying it was the second one from the wisdom tooth. He eventually ran out of the room to get gloves. He then got angry when my mother said she already explain it to me. He WAS right, but he still acted like a douch afterword. He was then explaining the procedure to me and said I needed to be a "big boy" during the surgery, I am 20 not 6. THat's when I rush out of the room, and asked the receptionist if there were any other doctor I could see. She said yes.



I had to get some other things done before I could do the surgery, so it took a while. When I tried to call back and schedule an appointment with a different doctor, they told me " I need to speak to the manager about this first." THen I kept calling for 3 days, the first two they kept telling me that the manager was out. The third day I finally got a hold of the manager, and she told me they are refusing service to me, because I did not agree with Pools "practices". Yeah his practices of being a jerk



Do not go here as they are NOT friendly to nervious or scared people unlike what their websites states.
